Searching For The Sun

I love native American culture. I am also obsessed by the thought of freedom and what that actually means. In this painting, the rider seeks his freedom by riding towards the certainty and promise of the brightness of the eternal sun on a wild mustang. Sometimes there are obstacles, sometimes clouds and always the reality of sunsets and fading hopes. Yet it is a never ending ride filled with wonder and awe.
